Stephen Roessner is a Grammy-Award winning musician, engineer and lecturer at The University of Rochester in New York. Students on BSc Music Technology have the opportunity to take part in an exchange programme, where we welcome two students from the University of Rochester. This year's exchange programme has evolved to encompass staff teaching across the two universities.

This talk was given at a local TEDx event, produced independently of the TED Conferences. A Grammy-winning musician and sound engineer, Stephen will discuss the fall of physical media, the rise of downloaded singles, and demonstrate the disparity in sound quality between different ways of listening.
